MATTHEW ROWLEY
LIGHTING CAMERA OPERATOR & FILMMAKER
I've been a Camera Operator since 2012, working across a wide range of subjects, styles, locations and industries - I've filmed everything from heart surgery tutorials to matches of Chess Boxing.
No two shoots are ever the same - that's what I love about my work -
but I always bring the same enthusiasm, professionalism and technical knowledge to every job.
I use these skills to get the best out of every aspect of the production:
the location, the equipment and the talent on and off screen,
to deliver the best possible results for the client.
As MattBox Film, I provide freelance video services through agencies, production companies and my own direct clients - in the role of Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Producer, Editor, or a combination of these.
Through agencies, I have worked on shoots for blue-chip clients like Microsoft, Ernst & Young and Peroni. My own clients include Tommy Hilfiger, Pret a Manger and the charities BOSP and KIDS.
I also work in the live sector as a camera, jib and PTZ Operator. I've been a Camera Operator, Director of Cameras and Vision Mixer on large-scale live events and productions:
Concerts, shows, music festivals and global livestreams at venues such as Hammersmith Apollo, Crystal Palace Bowl and The Royal Albert Hall.
I'm always looking to work on new projects, on new subjects and with new people -
So if you're looking to produce a film for your business or event or need a crewmember for your project or show, get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!
